Annual General Meeting 2022

Notice of Annual General Meeting 

The ninetieth Annual General Meeting of the Association of International Accountants will be held on 20 May 2022 at 12:00GMT (13:00BST) for the following purposes:

• To receive the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 30 September 2021.
• To elect Members of the Council.
• To appoint Auditors and to fix their remuneration.

AGM 2022 Arrangements

The Association of International Accountants continues to follow government and health advice in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic and we have therefore taken the decision to hold our Annual General Meeting behind closed doors.

This means our AGM will still go ahead as per the requirements of the AIA Constitution, but unfortunately members will be unable to attend.

We will instead issue a recording of the AGM and the voting results, which will be available for members on our website.

Our priority remains the wellbeing of our employees and members.

Q: How can I watch or listen to the AGM? How will I know the voting results?

We will be recording the AGM and voting results. These will be made available within the members’ area and communicated to you, along with copies of statements and any of the questions received.

Q: How do I use my vote?

You can submit your vote using the online form below. Simply use your AIA membership number and security code sent to you by email to access the form.

Q: What happens if I have a question?

You can submit your question when voting online using the 'Submit your vote' form below.

Alternatively, please email your question to council@aiaworldwide.com at least 72 hours before the meeting.

Questions and answers will be displayed on our website following the AGM.

However, please be aware that this is an AGM and therefore the matters to be dealt with are those related to that meeting.
